CBBI Graduates

This by no means a complete list, but we wanted to list a few of the people who have graduated from the Bible Institute.

• Dr. Thomas Gresham, Associate of Theology Diploma, September 22, 1994; Captain of Theology, June 2, 1996; Doctorate of Theology, July 26, 2003.
  Dr. Gresham is the pastor of Charity Baptist Church and teaches at Charity Baptist Bible Institute. He is also the head chaplain for the Montgomery County (Ohio) Jail.


• Dr. Michael L. Hauenstein, Bachelor of Religious Education, July 25, 1981; Master of Theology, July 25, 1982; Doctorate of Theology, June 11, 1983.
  Dr. Hauenstein was the Dean of CBBI until March, 1997. He graduated to Glory as a result of Lou Gehrig’s disease in January, 1998.


• David St. John, Bachelor of Religious Education, July 25, 1981.
  Bro. St. John pastors a church in Tennessee – he was the Associate Pastor of Charity Baptist Church in part of the 80's and has also taught at Charity Baptist Bible Institute.


• Randall Townsend, Bachelor of Religious Education, June 1983.
  Dr. Townsend pastors Bible Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio. He also received a Doctorate from another school and has taught at CBBI.


• Nancy Townsend, Bachelor of Religious Education, June 1983.
  She is the wife of Pastor Randall Townsend.


• Dick Harrelson, Bachelor of Religious Education, 1982.
  Bro. Harrelson and his wife, Cindy, have been missionaries in Papua, New Guinea since the late 80's.


• Keven Kendell, Bachelor of Religious Education, November 1985.
  Bro. Kendell is also a missionary in Papua, New Guinea.


• Roger Andrews, Bachelor of Religious Education, December 1986.
  Bro. Andrews spent some time in Australia as a missionary, and has also taught at Charity Baptist Bible Institute.


• Dr. French I. Jenkins, Captain of Theology, July 1992; Colonel of Theology, July 1994; General of Theology, July 1994.
  Dr. Jenkins pastors Redeemed Baptist Church in Point Marion, Pennsylvania.


• Dr. David Peacock, Captain of Theology, December 10, 1995; Captain of Theology, February 15, 1997.
  Dr. Peacock pastors Bible Believers Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida.


• Micah Hedges, Captain of Theology, December 1989.
  Bro. Hedges is currently serving as a missionary in Vietnam.


• Bruce Ireland, Captain of Theology, August 27, 1995.
  Bro. Ireland currently pastors Country Chapel Baptist Church in Eldred, Pennsylvania.


• John Sarra, Captain of Theology, May 16, 1995.
  Bro. Sarra currently serves as a missionary in Zambia.


• David C. Spurgeon, Diploma of Christian Studies, June 2, 1996; Lieutenant of Theology, September 30, 1999.
  Bro. Spurgeon is an evangelist out of Charity Baptist Church, Kettering, Ohio.
