The Lord Jesus Christ became my Saviour in the Montgomery County Jail in Dayton, Ohio on November 30, 1990. The Gospel was
preached clearly to me by the then-Assistant Pastor of Charity Baptist Church, Tom Gresham. Several weeks later, in my cell,
I bowed my knee, and my heart, to the Lord Jesus Christ. I have never been the same since, and I have never regretted getting
my sins forgiven and my soul redeemed.
Upon the retirement of Dr. Greg Estep in 2001, Tom Gresham became the pastor. I have been a member of Charity BC since January,
1991, and a full-time evangelist since March, 1997.
God has saved many through Bro. Spurgeon's tract, Life in the Fast Lane. The tract has been translated into several
different languages (Spanish, Nepalese, Mongolian, Russian, Dutch, and Telugu) and distributed around the world.
To order the Fast Lane tract, please email Yvonne, our secretary, or call the church at 937-567-7929.
The tract is available in English and Spanish through us.

September 2011 prayer letter
Dear Praying Friends,
Greetings in the name of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord is continuing to keep us very busy, for which we are thankful. Susan and I have been in meetings in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Ohio since the last letter. We have seen some folks come to Christ, and we have seen some return to Him. Praise the Lord, the devil is not getting them all!
We are currently in Colorado and are heading to Florida in a couple of days. It has been exciting for us to get in on the "ground floor" of several churches getting started out here. We are glad to see the Lord is still doing some things in America. The need is greater than ever.
A year ago, I prophesied that our motor home was getting to the point of needing replacement. That is what we have been doing ever since. Replacing it, one piece at a time: engine, transmission, furnace, water heater, and generator. Three weeks ago, we replaced both head gaskets. We ought to have a brand new coach soon! We are praying this one makes it until the rapture. In case it doesn't, if you know of anyone interested in putting their coach into the ministry, give them my number. I might be able to help them out. Did I remember to mention "diesel?"
Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
I am happy to be able to give a good report at last concerning my memoir. After much reluctance to go the self-publishing route, I came to the realization that to retain control of my manuscript, and to prevent some secular publisher from diluting, or deleting altogether, the Gospel of Christ, I was going to have to self-publish.
I signed with a Christian company in July and my book, Bikin' and Brotherhood: My Journey, is now, finally, in the process of becoming a reality. Lord willing, it will be completed by Christmas. Some have inquired as to how they assist me in this effort to reach the biker crowd. For anyone interested in helping out, I have set up a book fund at Charity Baptist Church, 1600 Brownleigh Rd, Dayton, OH 45429. Simply designate any gift "Spurgeon Book Fund." Your contribution is tax deductible if made this way.
Thank you for your prayers. Susan and I are both healthy. God has been very gracious to us and we have no complaints. Please pray for our family. They all need it, some more than others.
