The Lord Jesus Christ became my Saviour in the Montgomery County Jail in Dayton, Ohio on November 30, 1990. The Gospel was
preached clearly to me by the then-Assistant Pastor of Charity Baptist Church, Tom Gresham. Several weeks later, in my cell,
I bowed my knee, and my heart, to the Lord Jesus Christ. I have never been the same since, and I have never regretted getting
my sins forgiven and my soul redeemed.
Upon the retirement of Dr. Greg Estep in 2001, Tom Gresham became the pastor. I have been a member of Charity BC since January,
1991, and a full-time evangelist since March, 1997.
God has saved many through Bro. Spurgeon's tract, Life in the Fast Lane. The tract has been translated into several
different languages (Spanish, Nepalese, Mongolian, Russian, Dutch, and Telugu) and distributed around the world.
To order the Fast Lane tract, please email Yvonne, our secretary, or call the church at 937-567-7929.
The tract is available in English and Spanish through us.

April 2010 prayer letter
Dear Praying Friends,
Greetings in the name of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a blessing to be writing once again to tell you of what "great things the Lord hath done." As time rolls on, and we grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord, I marvel more and more at His patience, mercy, and "great love wherewith He loved us." To say we are "blessed" would be but another great understatement when it comes to attempting to describe how great God has been to us.
2 Samuel 3:38 says, in part: ...Know ye not that there is a prince and a great man fallen this day...
This verse was my text on St. Patrick's Day as I preached my dad's funeral. Thank you for praying for him as he struggled with some health issues during the last year and a half. He won't need them anymore. My aunt, Anna Lea Clayton, also went home to be with the Lord in January. She was one of our most diligent and faithful prayer warriors. We will miss them both very much, but we will see them again in Heaven. Praise the Lord!
In these interesting times, the news media has successfully added panic to the famine in the land for the Word of God, which was already well in place. Some Christians are indeed in precarious circumstances economically, but many seem to be simply under the influence of the spirit of our times. That being said, I'm happy to report that our God is not the least bit worried about the current events. He's focused on future events, one of which I hope takes place very soon.
I'd have to say that so far this year we've been in some of the best revival meetings since I went into full time evangelism over 13 years ago. I'm not talking about attendance, or offerings, or men surrendering to preach. I'm talking about the liberty of the Spirit of God to move in ways previously hindered, perhaps by prosperity. In several churches in a row, amid the cares and concerns of this age, the Holy Ghost has convicted many souls of their greatest need. Eleven adults have "walked the aisle", as well as four children. Since January 1st, I've seen eleven more men bow their hearts to Christ in jail, as well as seven incarcerated juveniles join the ranks of the redeemed. Last week, fifteen men and women asked Christ to save them in a Rescue Mission in downtown Memphis, and a 47 year old man, with a similar past as mine, prayed to be saved on the hood of his pick-up truck. I'm thrilled to report that Nikki Hauenstein asked the Lord to save her soul last week, as well. Glory to God!!!
The "biker" book I'm writing is finally in the proof-reading stage. Now it's time to pray that the Lord will show me how to go about getting it published so as to get it in the hands of those it may help to get saved.
Please pray for Pastor Kyle Stephens, who suffered a stroke last week. He is now in re-hab. He, his family, and his church, Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, would greatly appreciate it.
Our family is doing well, for the most part. Our son Pete still needs prayer on several fronts, but he's doing better. Last, but not least, I had the "time of my life" preaching the Blow-Out again this year. Thanks for praying for us.
