Jerry's personal testimony: "I was saved on March 9, 1978. For weeks the Lord had been drawing me to Him in answer to the
intercessory prayers of my neighbors, Mike and Sue Hauenstein, showing me that the person of Jesus Christ was not personal to me.
I knew I was a sinner, that works could not save me, and that I had to believe in Jesus. But, I had never received the Lord Jesus Christ
as my own personal Savior until that night of March 1978. My faithful and caring neighbors showed me what the Bible said and led me in prayer.
The Lord gave me joy and peace that night!"
Jerry has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics; he has been playing the organ at Charity since 1982, and plays bass and sings in Joyful Sound.
