With the growth in membership over the last several years, the purchase of the Brownleigh Road building, and the expansion of the ministries,
the Lord showed Pastor Gresham the need for deacons. The deacons oversee maintenance of the church grounds. Each deacon also assists the members spiritually as needs
arise. No amount of convincing would get the deacons to form a human pyramid, so here are their normal pictures.

As a young child, I came to know the Lord as my personal Savior. When I was eight years old, my parents moved to
Ohio from Pennsylvania for my dad to attend Charity Baptist Bible Institute (CBBI). He graduated from the CBBI after
four years, and subsequently moved back to Eldred, Pennsylvania to establish a church, which he still pastors today.
When I was twenty, I realized that God was calling me to preach. One Monday morning at work, I surrendered to His call
and moved back to Ohio to attend CBBI. I also met my wife, Rebecca (whose parents are missionaries to
Papua New Guinea), at Charity, and we were married in 2006. It is our desire to help the church in any way that we
can. We are thankful to be elected deacon, and it is our hope to be a help and a blessing to the members of Charity,
as they are to us.

Tom and Cheryl Lynch
In January 1986, Bro. Tom Lynch came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. His future wife, Mrs. Cheryl trusted Christ as her personal Savior around the age of five.
They wed in holy matrimony in 1988, and became members of Charity Baptist Church in 1989. The Lord blessed them with three sons and a daughter. Through the years, they both have become active
in multiple outreach ministries, including Bro. Tom serving as a deacon since April 2008.

My name is Keith Woods and I asked Jesus to save me February 10th, 2002. As I look back I can see the hand of
God moving in my life leading me up to the point where I knew I NEEDED HIM! Since trusting Jesus, He has made a
complete change of my life. Before Jesus, I enjoyed parties and causing trouble - Since Jesus, I love to learn more
about Him and help people with their troubles. That is what God is able to do, change your life and mind (II Cor 5:17)

God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and 4 beautiful children, which the doctors
told us we couldn't have - Praise the Lord! He also allows me to serve within my church as a
Deacon, Patch the Pirate Director, and a Sunday School teacher! What a blessing!
